Whiteman Park



Whiteman Park is located in the Whiteman locality in the City of Swan, 22 kilometres north of Perth.

It is a 30 square kilometre park located within the Swan Valley with extensive opportunities for outdoor activities, including bushwalking trails, bike paths, sports facilities grassed parklands and playgrounds.

The park also houses features such as the Perth Electric Tramway Society 4-km long electric tram track, Caversham Wildlife Park, the Bennett Brook Railway, the Tractor Museum of Western Australia, the Western Australian Motor Museum, the Bus Preservation Society and a Children's forest.

The park is known for its biodiversity, which includes many endemic and endangered plants and animals. Many unique Western Australian bird species occur within the park, including migratory birds which are attracted to the habitat provided by Bennett Brook and the associated wetlands.

The park is part of the Gnangara Mound and reaches an elevation of up to 58 metres above sea level.

Beachboro Road is located to the west and Lord Street is located to the east of the area, with Marshall Road to the south.
