West Leederville is located in the Town of Cambridge, 3 kilometres north west of Perth.

The area has a resident population of about 3600 and covers 1.3 square kilometres. Development initially occured locally during the late 19th century.

The area is serviced by the  Leederville train station which is on the Perth to Joondalup line, and by the West Leederville train station which is on the Perth to Fremantle line.

The Mitchell Freeway is located to the east of the area and Cambridge Street cuts through the area from east to west.
