Watermans Bay is located in the City of Stirling, 18 kilometres north of Perth.
The area has a resident population of about 2200 and covers 1.7 square kilometres. Development commenced locally during the late 1940s.
It is bordered by Beach Road to the north, Marmion Avenue to the east, Hale Street to the south and West Coast Drive and the Indian Ocean to the west.
Star Swamp Bushland Reserve is occupies the eastern half of the area, plus extensive foreshore reserves exist on the ocean front.
