Trigg is located in the City of Stirling, 14 kilometres north of Perth.

The area has a resident population of about 2600 and covers 2.4 square kilometres. Development in the area initially commenced during the 1940s.

It is a coastal location bordered by Marmion Avenue to the east and West Coast Drive and the Indian Ocean to the west. Karrinyup Road cuts through the area from the east to the coast and North Beach Road is located to the north.

Hammersley Golf Course is located neaby to the east and Trigg Bushland Reserve is to the south.
