Pearsall is located in the City of Wanneroo, 23 kilometres north of Perth.

The area has a resident population of about 1600, and covers 1.5 square kilometres.

It is located to the south of the Wanneroo township, with Wanneroo Road to the west and Ocean Reef Road to the south.
Formerly it was substantially a market gardening area, and a number of local market gardens still remain in operation.

The Yellagonga Regional Park and Lake Joondalup are located to the west.
