Neerabup is located within the City of Wanneroo, 36 kilometres north of Perth.
The area has a resident population of about 80, and covers 34 square kilometres.
It is an agricultural location, containing several plant nurseries, a fruit and vegetable shop and the Neerabup Lake wetland along Wanneroo Road/Indian Ocean Drive. The western portion of the area between Wanneroo Road and the proposed Mitchell Freeway is part of the Neerabup National Park.
The area is bounded by Wattle Avenue to the north, the proposed Mitchell Freeway to the west, Pinjar Road to the east and by Flynn Drive and Burns Beach Road to the south.
A golf course is located nearby plus some small wineries. A small industrial area located on Flynn Drive is planned to develop into a major industrial area. Barbagallo Raceway and Wanneroo Kartway WA's premier motorsport facilities, are located to the north east of the area.
The Indian Ocean is located about 4 kilometres to the west at Mindarie.
