Lockridge is located in the City of Swan, 11 kilometres north east of Perth.

The area has a resident population of about 3600, and covers an area of 1.46 square kilometres.

The eastern boundary of the area is formed by Whiteman Park, Bennett Brook and the associated wetlands, Benara Road provides the boundary to the north, Morley East Drive to the south and Altone Road to the west.

Several public open space parks are located within the area, and Altone Park Golf Course is located to the west, with the Swan River located one kilometre to the south west of the area.
