Kellerberrin is located in the Wheatbelt region of Western Australia,
205 kilometres (two and a half hours drive) east of Perth on the Great
Eastern Highway.
The area has a population of about 900, and wheat and sheep farming, plus the manufacture of agricultural equipment are the region’s main industries. The area consists of open farmland, granite rock outcrops and woodlands with wildflowers.
An average of 350 mm of rain falls in the area and produces good crops of wheat, barley and oats. The Kellerberrin Heritage Trail provides a pleasant half hour walk through the town followed by a short 4 km drive to the local lookout.
Accommodation options within the town include a hotel, a caravan park, a roadhouse/motel and self contained cabins. the town is located 246 metres above sea level.

The Kellerberrin Agricultural Show takes place each year on the third weekend of September at the Kellerberrin Showgrounds. The Show, which is organised by the Kellerberrin & Districts Agricultural Society has been in operation since 1920.
The show portrays the districts culture in displays of produce and livestock, arts and crafts, a photographic competition, cooking, show jumping. Entertainment consists of sideshows, merry-go-rounds, show bags, clown/magician, chocolate wheels, fireworks display and other traditional attractions.
