Kalamunda is located on the Darling Scarp 25 kilometres to the east of Perth, with an elevation of between 62 metres and 337 metres above sea level.

The Kalamunda Show
The Kalamunda show is a 100+ year old annual event and part of the local Kalamunda community heritage.
The Show is open on Friday evening between 5pm and 10pm, with stage entertainment, exhibits, stalls, sideshow alley and an excellent fireworks display. The Show continues on Saturday between 10am and 10pm with more events, entertainment and displays, culminating in a spectacular fireworks display at night.
The Show is the Kalamunda Shire’s premier community event and visitors enjoy an excellent program of activities and entertainment.

Zig Zag Festival
The Zig Zag Festival is an annual community-based event which focuses on developing and nurturing creative partnerships and collaborations in the local community.


Kalamunda Village Markets
A market operates on the first Saturday of each month in the Central Mall Kalamunda, organised by the local Rotary Club and held between 8:30am and 3:30pm. Most stalls are operated by local produce growers and craftspeople.

Kalamunda Farmers Market
The Farmers Market is held every Sunday morning in the Central Mall Kalamunda, with fresh local produce available direct from the growers. Visit the Kalamunda Chamber of Commerce website for more information.

Cultural Centre
The  Zig Zag Cultural Centre is a major community asset within the Shire of Kalamunda, containing the local visitor centre, an
