Eneabba is located 278 kilometres north of Perth on the Brand Highway, and is famous for its spectacular display of spring wildflowers.

It was a sand mining town surrounded by some of the most extensive and spectacular wild flower displays to be found anywhere in Western Australia. The town contains a small shopping centre and service station.

The economy of the area was based on mining the rutile sands located to the south of the town, plus farming, especially cattle grazing.

The area contains an estimated 80 per cent of the world's known rutile supplies. The major mining company in the area was Iluka Resources, although the mine was was put into care and maintenance during 2010, and at the time of writing there is no mining in the area whatsoever.

Eneabba is surrounded by several national heritage reserves. including the folowing:

Alexander Morrison National Park 30 km south east of the town.

Mount Lesueur Reserve 30 km to the south west of town.

Beekeepers Reserve, 20 km north of town.

Lake Indoon Reserve, 14 km west of town.

Reserve 29073 10 km west of town.

Stockyard Gully, 15 km southwest of the town.
