Embleton is located in the City of Bayswater, 8 kilometres north east of Perth.
The area has a resident population of about 2500, and covers an area of 1.7 square kilometres. It is bordered by Broun Avenue to the west and north and by Beechboro Road to the east.
A large commercial/industrial area is location to the east, and the Centro Gallerea shopping complex is located nearby to the north west. Embleton Golf Course and Hillcrest Park are located within the area.
