Cuballing is located 175 kilometres south east of Perth.

The town is two and a half hours' drive southeast of Perth on the Great Southern Highway. Many lovely buildings dating from the early 1900s are located within the town. These include the Cuballing Tavern, the Agricultural Hall and the Post Office.

Located in the Central Wheatbelt area, the district covers 1250 square kilometres, and has a population of less than 1000. The district contains 17,500 hectares of Dryandra State Forest.

The Cuballing Country Festival organised by the Cuballing Progress Committee is held during early October each year at the Cuballing Recreation Centre.
