Chapman Valley is located 440 kilometres north of Perth.

The area has an average elevation of about 273 metres above sea level and is located to the north of Geraldton. It is picturesque, especially between the months of July and October when it comes alive with the vibrant colour of wildflowers.

A number of wineries are located in the area and these are among the most northerly vineyards in the state.

The Chapman River flows through the area and passes through the town of Nabawa then enters the Indian Ocean at Champion Bay.

The Chapman Valley Show is organised by the Chapman Valley Agricultural Society and runs each year in early September.
