The town and shire of Bruce Rock are located approximately 254 kilometres east of Perth and 48 kilometres southwest of Merredin in the Eastern Wheatbelt.

The town has a population of approximately 700 residents, with a total of 1200 residents living within the shire. 

Bruce Rock leads the way to open spaces and an agricultural experience to be enjoyed by all. Visitors to the town are welcome to enjoy the picturesque main street, gardens, amphitheatre and sculpture park. Plus, the historic buildings, museums, federation style verandahs and excellent facilities.

The Bruce Rock Agricultural Show is held once every two years during September. The show provides residents and visitors to the town with a day of entertainment and the opportunity to view the range of farm machinery and local craft and produce on display.

Bruce Rock District High School provides education to students from Kindergarten to Year 10, with the option to study year 11 and 12 levels at Merredin.
